In the crystal, a pair of inter-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into centrosymmetric R(2) (2)(20) dimers, which are aggregated via π-π inter-actions into sheets [quinoline-benzene ring centroid-centroid separation = 3.572†(2)-3.773†(3)†à ].
