Conclusion
Our large cohort study showed that ARID1A expression in cancer cells was associated with a poor clinical outcome in patients with HCC, PD-L1 expression in cancer cells, and tumor microenvironment. Therefore, ARID1A may be a potential molecular biomarker for the selection of patients with HCC for anti-programmed death 1/PD-L1 antibody therapy.
